August 4, 2019 @ 10:00 am12:00 pm

Drinkable, Fishable, Swimmable Waters on the East End
Sunday, August 4  |  10:00am

Join us for a bagel breakfast followed by a conversation with Nancy Kelley of The Nature Conservancy.

Nancy Kelley has been on the forefront of conservation for 20 years – helping preserve more than 200,000 acres of lands and shores in her role as Director of The Nature Conservancy’s Long Island Chapter. As the East End faces threats to water quality, The Nature Conservancy’s team of scientists and advocates is working to restore drinkable, fishable and swimmable waters. This issue is made all the more pressing as we confront the challenges of a changing climate. Join Nancy and special guests in conversation as we discuss challenges to local water quality and ways to help.
