Challah Bake

Families and adults of all ages are invited to roll up their sleeves and take part in this hands-on, heart-filled experience: mixing, kneading, and braiding challah dough from scratch, preparing a beautiful centerpiece for Shabbat.
While the dough rises, children will enjoy fun, supervised activities and a pizza dinner, while adults gather for refreshments, conversation, and learning to explore the deeper meaning of challah and Shabbat through Jewish texts and symbolism.
This is more than a baking event; it’s a chance to slow down and experience something truly special and holy, making challah by hand and transforming simple ingredients into nourishment for both body and soul. Come be part of this joyful community experience.
