Who Shapes the Future of New York City?

August 9 @ 10:00 am11:00 am
Free – $36.00

Manhattan Institute

In this timely lecture, Reihan Salam examines the growing ideological divide shaping New York City and America’s urban future. Drawing from his personal experience as the son of immigrants and his work leading the Manhattan Institute, Salam reflects on public safety, assimilation, capitalism, civic identity, and the changing political culture of New York. Framed in contrast to the socialist vision represented by Mayor Zohran Mamdani, the discussion explores competing ideas about opportunity, meritocracy, social justice, and the American dream — and asks what kind of city New York is becoming.

Reihan Salam | President of the Manhattan Institute
