Tisha B’Av Service
July 22 @ 7:00 pm–8:30 pm

Tisha B’Av, is a day of intense mourning for the Jewish people. It is a time when we commemorate many hardships and horrors that have befallen the Jewish people from the destruction of the Temples, our expulsion from Spain, and current day horrors.
On the eve of this day, we read both from Megillat Eicha, the book of lamentations, and kinot, poetic lamentation.
You are invited to join us at the Jewish Center for a thoughtful reading and discussion about what it means to mourn, and how do we heal.
