The first female cantorial trio in the US, here to lift your spirits! Made up of acclaimed Cantors Laurie Akers, Rachel Brook, and Rachel Goldman, they’ve made history as pioneering female cantors. Through their uplifting harmonies and sharing their message of Jewish pride through music, the Shul Sisters inspire globally with their powerful message and stunning vocals.

Shul Sisters
Cantors Laurie Akers, Rachel Brook, and Rachel Goldman—have been performing together since 2019, uniting their powerful voices to uplift Jewish identity through music.
With performances at major venues including the Lion of Judah Conference with Katie Couric, JUF’s Women’s Gala with Diane von Furstenberg, and the Illinois Holocaust Museum Gala with President George W. Bush, they’ve inspired audiences nationwide.
Their music blends rich harmonies with heartfelt storytelling, and they are currently working on The Niggun Project, an album fusing traditional melodies with electronica.
With a shared belief in the power of communal song, the Shul Sisters celebrate the beauty and strength of Jewish life through music that moves, connects, and elevates.
