Children’s Program with Rebecca Schoffer

Join Rebecca Schoffer for a playful and soulful Shabbat celebration for the whole family! Get ready to sing, dance, jump and groove your way through Shabbat like never before! Through creative prayer, meaningful sing-a-longs and joyful Jewish rituals, Rebecca engages everyone, from babies to grandparents. You bring the family, we’ll bring the challah, grape juice, good tunes and good vibes!
Geared towards families with children ages 0–6, but all are welcome! No experience celebrating Shabbat necessary!
About Rebecca Schoffer
Rebecca Schoffer is the Director of Jewish Family Engagement at the 92nd Street Y in New York City. She is a musical and experiential Jewish educator, committed to bringing Jewish ritual to life in a way that feels real, joyful and resonates in 2020. She is also a singer songwriter, cantorial soloist and a director and playwright of Jewish family theater. Rebecca was a recent recipient of the 2019 Young Pioneers Award from The Jewish Education Project, which celebrates forward thinking innovative educators.
