He is the host of the acclaimed podcast Unpacking Israeli History and co-host of Wondering Jews with Mijal and Noam, where he explores the complexities surrounding Israel, Judaism, and the Jewish experience – approaching each with nuance, balance, and intellectual honesty.
Under his guidance, Unpacked for Educators has become an essential resource for over 13,000 educators globally, while ConnectED, OpenDor Media’s groundbreaking independent schools initiative supports thousands of educators and students across North America.
A Civil Society Fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, Noam earned his doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California. His dissertation, Approaching Israel Education, advocates for a fresh paradigm that fosters empathy, critical thinking, and a mature Zionist identity. He previously served as principal of Shalhevet High School in Los Angeles and was Scholar-in-Residence at the Horace Mann School in New York during the 2023–2024 academic year.
