Shabbat on the Beach with Special Guest Lisa Lipkin

Join us at MAIN BEACH every Friday at 6:00pm

Shabbat on the Beach fuses the experience of spending the summer at the beach with traditional Jewish Shabbat rituals. Find your spot in the sand and join our community in singing, dancing, and celebrating the joys of a magical Shabbat experience.

Please keep your family in one specific area. For your convenience, we have designated areas in the sand for family members of the same household. If you have young children who may want to wander, they should stay the recommended 6 feet apart from other families.

Acclaimed Story Teller Lisa Lipkin returns to the Jewish Center as a Shabbat guest at Shabbat on the Beach and for our Saturday morning service. Join her virtually or in person for a Story Telling Workshop Saturday at 12:00pm.

We all inherit a set of stories about ourselves from the time we are born, shaped by family, friends, and co-workers. The challenge is whether we accept them as true or edit and rewrite them to reflect a more accurate narrative. We’ll learn techniques for identifying our old stories and shaping our new ones.
