Field Trip: Tenement Museum
January 4 @ 12:30 pm

Explore 100 Years of Immigrant Life at the Tenement Museum
Step inside a recreated 1880s tenement apartment and an interactive 1980s Chinatown garment shop as we follow the stories of German-Jewish immigrant Natalie Gumpertz and Chinese immigrant Mrs. Wong. Students and families will discover how immigrant women faced economic challenges, built community, and shaped the garment industry across a century.
After the tour, Rabbi Josh Franklin will lead families to beloved neighborhood spots, Economy Candy and Katz’s Deli (as time allows!).
Transportation and lunch not included.
