Family Havdalah

At the end of Shabbat, when three stars appear, we say goodbye to Shabbat. Together, we’ll take a cup of wine, a box of spices, and a braided Havdalah candle, and we’ll sing the blessings that talk about distinctions between the holy and the everyday, between light and dark, and between the seventh day of rest and the six days of work.

This brief but meaningful ritual is a perfect way to close out Shabbat and step into the new week connected, renewed, and inspired.
