Your support of this fundraising event will impact Jewish lives by enabling the Jewish Center of the Hamptons to continue to serve as a beacon of Judaism from Manhattan to Montauk and beyond. \n\nNoam Weissman\nDr. Noam Weissman\, Executive Vice President of OpenDor Media (Unpacked)\, is a recognized thought leader in innovative Israel and Jewish education. Noam spearheads the educational vision and content creation at OpenDor Media. Leading a team of producers and educators for the Unpacked brand\, he reaches millions of young Jews and non-Jews yearly through articles\, videos\, and social media.\nMore >\nTheir Unpacked YouTube channel on the history of Israel\, Zionism and antisemitism has over 240\,000 subscribers and has reached over 40 million views. \nNoam is also the host of Unpacking Israeli History\,” which consistently trends as the #1 Jewish podcast across the globe with over 130\,000 downloads per month\, and he is the co-host of “Wondering Jews with Mijal and Noam\,” which recently launched. \nNoam also leads the Unpacked For Educators division\, which is reaching thousands of educators in the Jewish educational landscape and recently launched a new platform for independent schools to teach about Israel and antisemitism\, called ConnectED. \nHe is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and is a Civil Society Fellow.\nAs part of his work at OpenDor Media\, he is currently the Scholar in Residence at the Horace Mann School in NY\, focused on Israel education\, antisemitism and navigating courageous conversations across the political and religious aisles. \nNoam earned his doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Southern California\, specializing in curriculum design. His dissertation\, “Approaching Israel Education\,” advocates for a fresh perspective on learning about the modern State of Israel\, emphasizing Zionist identity development\, narrative formation\, and fostering a mature\, empathetic relationship with Israel. \nHe has been featured in a number of different media outlets\, including Fox Nation and Katie Couric’s YouTube channel. \nPrior to joining OpenDor Media\, Noam served as the principal of Shalhevet High School in Los Angeles. He is married to Raizie Erreich and they are the proud parents of Eyal\, Liana\, Nissa\, and Sarit. < Less \n\n\nRabbi Josh Franklin\nIn his seven years on East End\, Rabbi Josh Franklin has helped revitalize and grow the Jewish Center of the Hamptons community through engaging programming\, transformative classes\, inspiring worship\, and welcoming community outreach. In addition to his role at the synagogue\, Rabbi Franklin contributes widely to the greater Hamptons community. He has co-written a bi-monthly column in Dan’s Papers called “Hamptons Soul\,” discussing issues of spirituality and justice in the Hamptons.\nMore >\nHe has sat on numerous local committees including the East Hampton Police Reform Committee and the Adolescent Mental Health and Substance Use Task Force. He heads the East Hampton Clericus\, the local interfaith clergy council. He also sits on the board of L’Arche Long Island\, a community center and home for adults with developmental disabilities. Rabbi Franklin was named to the 2021 Schneps Media Powerlist\, honoring the movers and shakers on the East End of Long Island. Dans Papers named Rabbi Franklin one of its “People of the Year: East Enders Who Made the World A Better Place in 2022.” Rabbi Franklin was voted the MVP of the East Hampton Artists and Writers Softball Game in 2022\, hitting a legendary walk-off grand slam to win the game for the writers. Her life’s journey has been marked by a commitment to excellence\, a passion for giving back\, and a tireless dedication to making a positive impact on society. Philanthropically\, her focus for the past 20 years has been to help make Israel strong by growing her partnership with OR Movement.\nMore >\nOR Movement is a non-profit organization established in 2002\, dedicated to developing and populating the Negev & Galilee regions of Israel. \nAs the daughter of Holocaust survivors\, she believes that all Jews should be connected to Israel; therefore\, she encourages ownership\, as a legacy\, at the Seasons Hotel in Netanya\, where she is on the Board of Directors. \nEsther Muller is both an Academician and Practitioner. She has held the acclaimed position as Professor and Director at the Graduate School of Business at Touro College.
