Gates of Jewish Learning

GOJL Pods (Kindergarten–Grade 6)

Learning pods are small, in-person groups of students learning together with the help of an in-person teacher. GOJL Pods offer our community the opportunity to remain socially connected while minimizing risks of gathering. Our pods will be comprised of up to six students and a teacher, and will meet primarily outside. Rabbi Joshua Franklin and Rabbi Debra Stein, Cantor will rotate through the pods each week to offer music, prayer, and connection to our clergy. All pods will now meet in covered outdoor locations with the aid of space heaters.

For Questions: please contact Rabbi Joshua Franklin.

Family Learning Events (All grades with parents)

Throughout the year, we will have opportunities for both our online and pod learning groups to meet in person. We will kick off the year at our first family program for Sukkot on October 4, when families will meet on our lawn at the Jewish center, learn about Sukkot, and work to decorate the Jewish Center of the Hamptons sukkah. There will be at least four family programs throughout the year that help us engage more deeply in celebrating Jewish holidays.  We hope to incorporate Chanukkah, Purim, and Passover into our family learning programming.
