| The sanctuary, Shaarey Pardes (Gates of the Grove), designed by architect Norman Jaffe, is immersed in symbolism. Light tumbles in softly from sources we cannot always see; physical support is almost mysterious. Light and air provide a quiet, contemplative haven from the stresses of our daily lives.
